Salvatore said before our group of 15 Ugnayan members and invited guests after he reflected on Luke 15: 11-32, The Parable of the Prodigal Son.<br /><br />Bro. Salvatore focused on God as ALL-FORGIVING, and God of INFINITE LOVE, a clear contrast to the jealous and unforgiving older son in the parable. This nature of God is a very touching open-arm invitation for all Christians to fulfill for Him an ambassador role --- to proclaim God’s love not only by our lips but by our own good deeds ; by being God’s image as well. That God is always forgiving to each one of us, so we as much, should also be forgiving towards others.<br /><br />The retreat lasted only for 2 hours, but it was enlightening and inspiring. The group could not help but express appreciation and experiences so wonderful they are noteworthy to be shared. Read on:<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I am glad too that we had some quiet time for reflection and prayers. The mood was so nice and peaceful. It also lightens my load. With the kind of ministry that we have, we need this kind of silence so the Lord can speak to us. Thanks, especially to Bro. Salvatore. Zeny<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I am feeling light and happy because of our retreat. Say I am corny or what but I do feel different after I was enlightened and looked deeper within. I prayed and have resolved to put everything behind, to forgive and forget, to TRUST IN GOD COMPLETELY. God bless us all. Elenita<br /><br />I'm grateful that I was able to be a part of the mini-retreat. Thanks to those that organized it and to Brother Salvatore. Surely, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. It is new every morning! Greg<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I like it that we incorporated singing in our reflection. The 'One Thing I Ask' means God dwells in our hearts simply put and 'You Are Mine' is another song that I will always carry with me, given more meaning by Bro. Salvatore on a different context. It's us having an intimate relationship with God. It was a great experience. Short and Sweet.
